About Forde

With nearly a decade of experience in the mental health field, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations across a wide range of settings. I’ve supported developmentally disabled adults in schools and homes, lived alongside high-risk teens and young adults in wilderness programs while providing individual and group therapy, and worked extensively with families and couples navigating connection, conflict, and change. These experiences have shaped me into an adaptive, intuitive therapist who is attuned to each person’s unique context and needs.

At the heart of my approach is the belief that therapy is a relational process. The connection we build together serves as the foundation for your success. Every treatment I provide is unique and tailored to your specific needs, rooted in a strength-based approach. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including IFS, CBT, EFT, and attachment theory, to support both your emotional and cognitive well-being.

I believe that effective therapy is a journey that engages with your past, provides tools for the present, and encourages you to envision and work toward a more expansive future. My work incorporates humor, directness, and personalized interventions to support you throughout the process.

With advanced training in trauma recovery, sex therapy, and trans-affirming care, I am equipped to work with a diverse range of individuals and relationship dynamics. I take great care to center your racial, cultural, and spiritual identities, and I am committed to affirming your relationships, self-expression, and values, meeting you exactly where you are.

My Approach

My clients are curious individuals seeking a deeper, more engaged therapeutic experience- one that goes beyond the therapist as a passive listener. While I primarily work with queer and LGBTQ+ folks, my practice is inclusive of anyone looking for meaningful connection and growth. My clients value being challenged and appreciate a dynamic, conversational approach to therapy that fosters authenticity, insight, and transformation.
